  1. Difference between Team site and Communication site?
    • Team site : Team site is a Collaborative site, with this site we can able work with a team in the organization, when we create a Team site it will create a Office 365 group in the back end, will get a Shared Mail box, a Team will create and a One drive account also create. in the Team site we will more Authors and Less viewers.
    • Communication site : Communication site is broadcasting site, which is used to Publish the news, announcements etc… in the Communication site we will have more viewers and less authors.

  3. Difference between Edit and Contribute Permission levels?
    • Contribute Permission : With Contribute permission users can able to Add, update and Delete Items/Documents.
    • Edit Permission : With Edit permission user can able to Add, update and Delete Items/Documents, and user also can able to update the List/Library settings.

  5. Difference between Classic SharePoint and Modern SharePoint?
    • Classic SharePoint :
      • Classic Pages are responsive by default, we have to work on the pages or Master page to make the site responsive.
      • We can able to inject Client side code using script editor and Content Editor web parts
      • Classic page support old web parts like Content query, Search web parts and Social web parts.
      • Classic SharePoint will not support the Power Apps and Power Automate.
    • Modern SharePoint:
      • Modern SharePoint is responsive by default.
      • It support with Power platform integration.
      • It will not support the client side code injection on the pages.
      • It supports SPFx web parts and will not support the classic web parts.

  7. What is Content type?
    • Content type is a Reusable type definition which is used to add/update data in the List/Library, we can add the Site columns to the content type, we can able to add multiple Content types to single list or Library. we can able to associate a workflow to a Content type as well.

    • Site Column is Reusable type column, we can create once we can use this in the List/Library and also it can be add in the Content type also.
